Security Engineer

You have a passion for being an integral piece of a security team by providing technical expertise and a deep understanding of not only the AlertMedia platform, but also general security constructs and how each fit with specific customer requirements. You enjoy working across boundaries with engineering, IT, compliance, legal, and customers to solve problems and increase awareness of security and compliance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and prefer a “one team one goal” mentality. • 3+ years of Security, Compliance, and Security Engineering experience • Experience supporting SOC 2 and/or ISO audits • Hands-on experience securing AWS environments (IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie) • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management, Encryption Standards, Cloud Infrastructure and tooling • Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows • Experience supporting customer security reviews • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize • Highly organized and ability to succeed in an ever-changing environment • Self-starter and team player, willing to jump in as needed • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding support • This is a remote, U.S.-based position.
