Job Description
A Mobile Software Engineer specializing in iOS development responsible for creating high-quality mobile applications, implementing features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a seamless user experience in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mobile applications for iPhone and server-side APIs
- Write organized, high-quality code within a complex codebase
- Collaborate with Product Management to define functional specifications
- Implement multi-device application features in an Agile environment
- Research, adopt, and integrate new technologies to improve products
- Take ownership of projects to ensure timely completion
- Work with Quality Assurance to develop test plans and ensure successful deployment
Requirements
- A B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or similar engineering program with strong academic performance. Liberal arts academic experience or interests are also a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in Software Development, preferably in mobile development.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals including operating systems, data structures, algorithmic analysis, and concurrency.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with various teams.
- 1 year of iOS experience preferred.
- Self-starter, analytical, and a tenacious problem solver.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables.
