Job Description

The job involves working with advanced AI and data fusion technologies to develop and enhance a spatial platform that captures, analyzes, and manages field data for agriculture and environmental conservation, supporting decision-making and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform smartphones into data acquisition tools for ground-level crop and tree observations
  • Integrate and analyze data from satellite imagery, drone surveys, sensors, and human observations to create digital twins and analytics
  • Generate actionable insights related to yield estimation, disease identification, and biodiversity assessment to support decision-making

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a complete understanding of how to record ground-level truth of crops and trees using the Agerpoint Capture app, which transforms any smartphone into a data acquisition tool.
  • Candidates must have experience or ability to produce highly precise, quantifiable digital twins and analytics through the integration of satellite imagery, terrestrial and drone surveys, field equipment sensors, and human observations.
  • Candidates must have the skills necessary to estimate yield, identify disease, and assess biodiversity using data cloud analytics.
  • Candidates must be able to work in a remote-friendly and flexible work environment, adhering to company policies.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in data acquisition, environmental analysis, or related fields (implied by the nature of the work, though not explicitly stated).
  • Candidates must be able to operate or understand the use of field equipment sensors, drone surveys, and satellite imagery for environmental and agricultural data collection.
