Key Responsibilities
Transform smartphones into data acquisition tools for ground-level crop and tree observations.
Integrate and analyze data from satellite imagery, drone surveys, sensors, and human observations to create digital twins and analytics.
Utilize AI and data fusion techniques to estimate yields, identify diseases, and assess biodiversity.
Support the development and deployment of the spatial platform for agriculture and environmental conservation.
Requirements
Candidates must have a background or interest in data acquisition, analysis, or management related to agriculture, forestry, environmental conservation, or natural ecosystems.
Candidates must be willing to apply or work with advanced AI, agentic models, and data fusion technologies.
Candidates must be able to use or operate a smartphone as a data acquisition tool, including recording ground-level truth of crops and trees.
Candidates must be capable of working with real-time visual models that sync with a cloud-based AI-native data platform.
Candidates must have the ability to interpret and utilize digital twins and analytics produced from satellite imagery, terrestrial and drone surveys, field equipment sensors, and human observations.
Candidates must be able to contribute to estimating yield, identifying disease, and assessing biodiversity using data cloud insights.
Candidates must be willing to work in a remote-friendly and flexible work environment.
Candidates must be interested in or willing to work in a role related to agriculture, forestry, insurance, government, or conservation organizations.
Candidates must be able to work at the company’s headquarters in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, if required, and have access to on-site amenities such as a fitness center, wellness coaches, and an eatery.
