Job Description

The VP of Demand Generation at Affinity is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate pipeline and revenue growth through AI-driven, personalized campaigns across multiple channels, while leading and scaling a high-performing demand generation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive pipeline growth
  • Leverage AI, automation, and predictive analytics to personalize campaigns and optimize resource allocation
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across paid media, SEO, field events, ecosystem partnerships, and lifecycle programs
  • Implement and manage account-based marketing (ABM) strategies with trigger-based messaging and account-level personalization
  • Build and maintain predictable pipeline models with clear accountability for marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue
  • Partner with sales teams to create account planning playbooks for land-and-expand strategies
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a demand generation team, fostering adoption of AI tools and modern practices
  • Manage marketing budget focusing on spend-to-pipeline efficiency and customer acquisition cost (CAC)
  • Utilize data and metrics to forecast performance, guide strategy, and optimize marketing programs

Requirements

  • 10-15 years in B2B SaaS demand generation with proven track record scaling beyond 100M ARR
  • Demonstrated success exceeding pipeline targets in complex sales environments with long sales cycles
  • Experience marketing to sophisticated buyers in financial services, private capital, or enterprise software preferred
  • Deep expertise in modern demand generation ABM, intent-based targeting, trigger-based messaging, predictive analytics, and dynamic personalization
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms Pardot, Salesforce, and analytics tools
  • Strong command of paid media channels with AI-enhanced targeting, bidding optimization, and audience segmentation
  • Experience with intent data platforms, account intelligence tools, and AI-powered marketing technologies
  • Working knowledge of marketing attribution models, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasting
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, using metrics to guide strategy, forecast performance, and optimize programs
  • AI-forward mindset, actively leveraging automation to scale quality, reduce manual work, and accelerate execution
  • Player coach mentality with ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams
  • Established frameworks for account planning in partnership with Sales to drive coordinated expansion strategies
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $235,000 - $260,000 USD base, dependent on experience and location
Work schedule: Hybrid model with in-office presence 2-3 days per week for those in San Francisco or New York
