Job Description
A Senior Product Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the production quality of Aeva's advanced 4D LiDAR sensors, acting as the main quality liaison between the company and its contract manufacturers to maintain manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the production quality of 4D LiDAR products
- Act as the primary quality liaison between Aeva and contract manufacturers
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements
- Possess extensive experience as a Product Quality Engineer, demonstrating a high level of skill and expertise in quality assurance within manufacturing environments.
- Have proven experience overseeing the production quality of advanced sensing or optical products, specifically related to LiDAR or similar high-tech devices.
- Serve as the primary quality liaison between the company and contract manufacturers, ensuring clear communication and quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure excellence throughout the manufacturing process by implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Possess a thorough understanding of manufacturing quality assurance processes, including inspection, testing, and validation of complex electronic or photonics components.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues.
- Have experience in managing quality documentation, reports, and compliance related to high-precision electronic or photonics manufacturing.
