The Photonics Layout and Design Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and automating photonics layouts to support advanced LiDAR sensor development for autonomous systems and various applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop photonics layout and automation tools for LiDAR sensor components
Create and optimize photonics integrated circuit designs for LiDAR applications
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design automation processes for photonics components
Requirements
Experience in photonics layout and design automation engineering.
Proficiency in designing and automating photonics components and systems.
Knowledge of silicon photonics chip integration and fabrication processes.
Experience with LiDAR sensor technology, specifically related to 4D LiDAR sensors that detect instant velocity and 3D position.
Ability to work on the development of perception and sensing technology for autonomous devices such as vehicles and robots.
