Job Description
The Director of IT at Aeva is responsible for leading global IT, DevOps, and Information Security operations, serving as the senior escalation point and CISO, while managing a distributed team and ensuring platform reliability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead IT, DevOps, and Information Security operations globally
- Serve as the functional CISO and senior escalation point for infrastructure, compliance, and platform reliability
- Manage and lead a distributed team across the US, Europe, and Asia
Requirements
- Experience leading IT, DevOps, and Information Security operations globally, with the ability to serve as the functional CISO and senior escalation point for infrastructure, compliance, and platform reliability.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a distributed team across multiple regions including the US, Europe, and Asia.
- Ability to own and oversee IT, DevOps, and Information Security functions at a senior level.
- Strong leadership skills to lead from the front and manage cross-regional teams.
- Experience reporting directly to the CTO or equivalent senior executive.
