Job Description
This role involves leading the development and management of the Acumen Academy Program in Pakistan, including fellowship outreach, program operations, stakeholder engagement, and building partnerships to support social entrepreneurs and leadership development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the launch, delivery, and growth of the Acumen Academy Program in Pakistan
- Oversee fellowship outreach, selection, and recruitment strategies
- Facilitate seminars and support Fellows through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one engagement
- Lead program operations including budgeting, logistics, and facilitator coordination
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and supporters to ensure program sustainability
- Develop and execute strategies for the Pakistan Foundry, including program development and impact measurement
- Establish partnerships and secure funding for the Pakistan Acumen Academy
- Build and manage a team of 2-4 members to support program objectives
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a related field, preferably in education, training, fellowships, leadership development, or entrepreneurship.
- Experience in group facilitation and adult learning.
- Coaching skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback effectively, and willingness to have difficult, courageous conversations in service of helping others grow.
- Experience in fundraising for new ventures.
- Experience setting up new ventures or programs in new markets is preferred but not required.
- A strong track record of managing stakeholders, building relationships with teams and partners, and managing a team by structuring the work, prioritizing, assigning, delegating, tracking results, and maintaining team morale.
- Experience managing stakeholders in a collaborative fashion.
- Strong operations track record and ability to achieve targets independently.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and be detail-oriented.
- Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work efficiently against tight deadlines.
- Familiarity and exposure to the field of social enterprise and poverty alleviation is preferred.
- A graduate master's degree in a related field such as education, psychology, leadership, or equivalent.
