Job Description
The Fund Operations Associate is responsible for managing daily treasury and operational workflows for venture capital funds, supporting financial reporting, fund administration, and gaining experience across the full fund lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day treasury and operational workflows for venture capital funds
- Support the Fund Accounting team with financial reporting and fund administration activities
- Oversee cash management and wire processing
- Assist with quarterly fund closes and fee calculations
- Prepare for audits related to fund operations
Requirements
- Experience in managing day-to-day treasury and operational workflows for venture capital funds or similar financial environments.
- Support experience with fund accounting activities including financial reporting, fund administration, quarterly closes, fee calculations, and audit preparation.
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to fund operations and financial processes.
- Ability to support cash management and wire processing activities within a venture capital fund context.
- Experience or familiarity with full fund lifecycle processes including cash management, wire processing, quarterly closes, fee calculations, and audit support.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple operational tasks related to fund management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Fund Accounting teams and other stakeholders involved in fund operations.
- Proficiency in financial systems or tools used for fund management and reporting (specific tools not specified but implied).
- Willingness to build depth in fund operations and gain experience in fund accounting processes.
