Key Responsibilities
Manage a firmware software team to develop, validate, and optimize product firmware for renewable energy systems.
Lead the design, development, and debugging of low-level real-time and low-latency firmware in C.
Support design reviews, DFMEA activities, and build advanced simulation and validation capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop features, control algorithms, and communication protocols.
Write software specifications, design documents, and maintain project schedules and timelines.
Requirements
7 years of professional firmware development experience, including leading a team
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Expertise in developing firmware for Power Electronics applications
Familiarity with the basics of Power Electronics
Experience in developing, debugging, and implementing low-level real-time and low-latency firmware in C
Ability to develop, debug, and troubleshoot low-level firmware in C and software fundamentals
Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols and their drivers
Ability to implement control algorithms for power electronics products
