Job Description
The Tax Manager will join a dynamic team at Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, to help clients maximize their opportunities in government contracting. This role offers growth opportunities within a progressive, innovative firm that values collaboration and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tax compliance and consulting for government contracting clients
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients
- Lead and mentor junior staff in tax-related tasks
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and guidelines
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field.
- Active CPA license required.
- Experience with government contracting tax issues.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
