Job Description
The Senior Process Engineer - Pyrolysis will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes to convert inedible biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil for permanent carbon removal, contributing to the company's mission of reversing climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize pyrolysis processes for biomass conversion.
- Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve process efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in process engineering with a focus on pyrolysis or related technologies.
- A degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in a startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
