Key Responsibilities
- We are seeking an Engineer I to join our Development team. This role will support process and project design engineering, with an emphasis on process development, engineering documentation, and process flow development. The position includes hands-on work in the lab and pilot plant and will partner closely with scientists, engineers, and operations teams across RD&E, Development, and manufacturing support functions. This role is based onsite in New Britain, Pennsylvania.
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering and early exposure to process engineering, pilot plant operations, scale-up, or technical development in chemicals, energy, manufacturing, or related industrial environments. Candidates should be excited to work in a hands-on startup environment and contribute across lab, pilot, and engineering activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- 0 to 2 years of relevant industry, internship, co-op, or research experience
- Exposure to process development, pilot plant operations, scale-up, or process engineering
- Familiarity with engineering, modeling, or data analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Aspen, Python, Matlab, or similar tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work hands-on in lab and pilot environments
- Strong commitment to personal and process safety
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-moving technical environment
