Job Description
The Data Engineer at Diamond Foundry Inc. will enhance and manage data collection, analysis, and presentation pipelines to support real-time manufacturing process analysis and reporting of key business metrics, collaborating with a team of engineers and scientists to improve data-driven systems.
Responsibilities
- •Strengthen and grow data collection, analysis, and presentation pipelines
- •Report key business metrics and analyze manufacturing processes in real time
- •Support and lead development and analytics projects
- •Enhance, test, and visualize data-driven manufacturing systems
- •Improve data ingestion and extraction techniques
- •Standardize data collection and presentation methods
- •Ensure data security
Requirements
- •Detail-oriented, hands-on Data Engineer to strengthen and grow data collection, analysis, and presentation pipelines.
- •Experience in reporting key business metrics and analyzing manufacturing processes in real time.
- •Ability to work with a team of veteran material scientists, and mechanical, electrical, metrology, and software engineers.
- •Support and lead various development and analytics projects to enhance, test, and visualize data-driven manufacturing systems.
- •Achieve maximum productivity for the production line by improving data ingestion and extraction techniques.
- •Standardize collection and presentation methods, and ensure data security.
- •Physical requirements include: sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- •Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- •Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- •Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- •Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- •Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and participate in E-Verify.
