Job Description
The job involves managing cross-functional collaboration between Systems Engineering and Software Operations to drive project progress in the autonomous driving technology sector. The role requires coordinating teams, clarifying requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of projects while utilizing Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between Systems Engineering and Software Operations.
- Coordinate between teams to unblock issues and communicate needs.
- Clarify requirements and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Create roadmap and project plans with Tech Lead Managers.
- Guide planning and execution processes of the engineering team.
- Manage and track project status, identify risks, and raise resource allocation concerns.
- Manage team priorities to ensure delivery of program goals.
- Communicate project status updates and summarize team progress.
- Assist in decision making by summarizing data regarding issues and project needs.
- Respond to escalations and changing priorities effectively.
- Translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of total working experience.
- 5 years of experience in leading a project team preferably in the autonomous vehicle, robotics, aerospace, medical device or automotive industry.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical experience or aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills, and an ability to build relationships and foster cross-functional collaboration between people and teams.
- Mastery of project management tools and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to address complex challenges and find effective solutions.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of software development process.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders, understand their needs and ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
