Job Description
Samsara is seeking a project manager for its Product Legal team to oversee and drive projects related to intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and product counseling in a fast-paced technology environment. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop policies, manage outside counsel, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of Samsara's intellectual property portfolio
- Develop, manage, and improve workflows related to intellectual property filings and budgets
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to protect new products and features
- Support vendor and software tool operations related to intellectual property management
- Assist with legal duties and projects as needed to support the Product legal team
Requirements
- 2 years experience at a law firm or in-house as a paralegal or administrative specialist in the area of intellectual property law, especially patents.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience independently driving complex projects from start to finish in a broad range of subject matters.
