Job Description
The Technical Product Marketing Manager at Canonical is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies for the company's global infrastructure portfolio, requiring a blend of technical understanding and marketing expertise. This dynamic role involves collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling messaging and driving awareness and adoption of products like OpenStack and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- •Lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for infrastructure products.
- •Track the competitive landscape and emerging trends for product differentiation.
- •Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps.
- •Translate technical product capabilities into clear messaging for key personas.
- •Own campaign and content planning for the infrastructure portfolio.
- •Use data and insights to optimize demand generation strategies.
- •Plan events, webinars, and support messaging for paid and social media promotion.
Requirements
- •Experience in a marketing function for enterprise IT products.
- •Passion for the cybersecurity industry and cybersecurity marketing.
- •Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
- •Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- •Ability to travel internationally four times a year for company events.
