Job Description
The role involves working as a Software Quality Engineer focused on automation, responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through hands-on testing and developing automated test strategies in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- •Design and implement automated tests throughout the application development lifecycle.
- •Create, develop, and maintain automated test sets and strategies for various products.
- •Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to identify requirements and contribute to solutions from initial test design to comprehensive testing suite.
- •Work closely with Support and Escalation teams to replicate and identify the root cause of customer issues.
- •Identify, analyze, and document defects discovered during automated testing.
- •Proactively identify test gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to closing the loop on defects found by customers.
Requirements
- •5 years of experience in software system testing or equivalent.
- •Proficient in System testing with a strong emphasis on end-to-end Automation.
- •Hands-on experience in automation using Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, and or similar languages.
- •Experience in qualifying enterprise products in cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
- •Familiarity with VMware, Disaster recovery, and Data protection.
- •Familiarity with SAN or NAS or systems.
- •Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments.
- •Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- •Capable of prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- •Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- •Willingness to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies.
