Job Description
The Software Engineer will join the Global Compliance team at Samsara, focusing on designing and developing systems to help customers manage driver operations while ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves full stack development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new systems for driver operations compliance.
- Architect, build, test, and deliver full stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile.
- Maintain production systems and provide operational support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on system design and technical decisions.
- Solve complex problems to enable product functionality for global customers.
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles within the team.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience designing and building products in a skilled software engineering team.
- Track record of leading design, development, deployment and maintenance of distributed, highly scalable software systems.
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of product, feature designs, development and delivery of large scale and long running projects.
