Job Description
The Engineering Manager at Celonis will lead a team of engineers in building and maintaining reliable cloud systems, focusing on people management, technical leadership, and fostering an engineering culture of trust and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- •Manage the performance and support the career development of senior and upper-mid-level engineers
- •Build and maintain an engineering culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration
- •Participate in hiring and growing the team according to business needs
- •Contribute technically within the team's scope
- •Collaborate with Product Managers and other leads on goals and strategies
- •Advocate for the team and provide visibility of their work
Requirements
- •5 years of experience in software engineering
- •4 years of management or technical leadership experience
- •Experience building, leading, or operating large-scale, high-performance distributed systems in production
- •Experience managing operationally heavy teams and willingness to share on-call responsibilities
- •Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production across multiple infrastructures
