Job Description
Celonis is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance their Task Mining product by developing new features and improving reliability, primarily focusing on Java backend services. The role requires expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, and a passion for clean code, with responsibilities including implementing scalable components and automating development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement highly performant and scalable components for Task Mining software
- Contribute to end-to-end solutions design, implementation, build, and delivery
- Increase maintainability, reliability, and robustness of software
- Continuously improve and automate development processes
- Document procedures and share knowledge within and across teams
- Respond to support requests and contribute to technical solutions
Requirements
- 3 years of professional experience building Java applications.
- Expertise in Java 17.
- Good level of Spring Boot.
- Familiar with containerization technologies, i.e., Docker.
- Experience in REST APIs and/or distributed micro-service architecture.
- Experience in monitoring and log analysis capabilities, i.e., DataDog.
- Experience in writing and setting up tests; knowledge of unit tests is a must.
- Strong communication skills; English is a must.
