Job Description
The Program Manager, Dangerous Goods Compliance at Redwood Materials will lead the compliance program for the shipping, handling, and storage of dangerous goods and hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and implement global dangerous goods transportation policies and compliance programs.
- •Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments for regulatory adherence.
- •Collaborate with global regulatory bodies to influence and comply with industry best practices.
- •Oversee the safe and compliant transportation of batteries and regulated materials.
- •Support logistics and supply chain teams in packaging, labeling, and documentation compliance.
- •Provide technical guidance on handling, storage, and emergency response protocols.
- •Lead initiatives to improve global compliance and operational efficiency in dangerous goods transportation.
- •Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance within operational workflows.
- •Develop and deliver training programs for employees, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in supply chain or industrial engineering.
- •Expertise in Lithium-Ion and Lithium Metal battery transportation regulations in the U.S. and internationally.
- •Global dangerous goods transportation policies, procedures, and compliance experience required.
- •Ability to implement programs and drive results.
