Job Description
The Corporate Security Specialist at Redwood Materials is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees by responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and providing security training. This role serves as the first line of response to security threats and collaborates with local, state, and federal emergency responders.
Responsibilities
- •Respond to all manners of emergencies that occur across the business.
- •Investigate all manners of incidents across the business.
- •Provide security awareness training to all business units.
- •Act as a liaison between local, state, and federal emergency responders and investigators.
- •Conduct patrols at all facilities.
- •Serve as an Emergency Response Team Leader.
- •Assist Security Operations Center Operators in responding to incidents and conducting investigations.
Requirements
- •5 to 10 years of professional corporate security experience.
- •Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or quantitative productivity standards.
- •Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- •Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- •Must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects over 50 lbs.
- •Must be able to wear and work wearing an SCBA, respirator, or other safe breathing device.
- •Must be able to walk up and down stairs carrying weight.
- •Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- •Required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
- •Travel requirements are less than 25%.
