Job Description
The Electrical Engineering intern will support the Infrastructure Development team at Redwood Materials by performing electrical assignments, developing construction drawings, and assisting in the creation of design standards for sustainable battery production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical assignments with general direction and supervision.
- Support the development of construction drawings for low voltage power distribution and related systems.
- Assist in the development of design standards and templates for the electrical engineering department.
- Maintain electrical equipment tracker through purchasing, delivery, storage, and installation.
- Perform site visits to document construction progress and ensure compliance with design drawings.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and electrical circuit schedules.
- Familiarity with using REVIT MEP for electrical design.
- Familiarity with using Navisworks to view and create clash-free design.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam to review, add markups, and create sessions.
- Prior experience or interest in using SKM to perform short-circuit, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordination study.
