Job Description
The Civil Engineer EIT at Atwell, LLC will support public and municipal engineering projects by leading design elements, preparing project documentation, and collaborating with project teams and clients to address engineering challenges and ensure compliance with local standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project teams in the design and implementation of public and municipal engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to prepare project documentation, proposals, and deliverables.
- Draft, review, and finalize essential project deliverables including site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, project schedules, and permit applications.
- Modify and refine plans based on client, agency, and public feedback.
- Research Washington state-specific zoning laws and environmental regulations.
- Conduct site visits and field assessments to ensure successful project execution.
- Analyze site survey data to optimize design solutions.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, municipal agencies, and project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Team Leader regarding project status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Two to four (2-4) years of civil engineering experience, with a preference for experience in public infrastructure or municipal project design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading design, technical writing, MS Office, and interpreting plans and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and workload management skills.
