Job Description
This position involves collaborating with customers to define and implement geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS platform, addressing complex geospatial challenges, and enhancing decision-making through location intelligence. The role requires designing GIS workflows, providing technical guidance, and presenting solutions to various stakeholders, particularly within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.
Responsibilities
- •Work closely with customers to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- •Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices for innovative solutions using Esri technology
- •Identify the value of location within customer workflows to drive return on investment in Esri's platform
- •Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions, and prepare implementation and migration strategies with customers
- •Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in customer organizations
- •Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align technical objectives with Esri's technology
Requirements
- •5 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
- •Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform Desktop, Server, and Online.
- •Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- •Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- •Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers.
- •Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- •US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance.
- •Bachelor's in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field.
