Job Description
The job involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design user-centered experiences for ArcGIS users, utilizing participatory design techniques and conducting usability research. The role requires developing design solutions, creating wireframes and prototypes, and communicating design rationale effectively to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences for ArcGIS users
- Design end-to-end user experiences using participatory and iterative techniques
- Identify requirements and specifications for new and existing features with stakeholders
- Conduct usability research and testing to improve product design
- Develop personas, user journeys, and information architecture diagrams
- Create and present design solutions through wireframes and prototypes
- Conduct peer reviews and gather usability feedback on designs
- Communicate design concepts and processes to team members
- Lead design initiatives and promote user-centered design practices
- Suggest process improvements to leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Digital Media, or a related field of study.
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept pre-Bachelor's degree experience.
- Demonstrated experience with UI Design tools including Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Photoshop.

Base salary range of 68,640 - 86,500 USD
