Job Description
The Business Analyst - Payroll is responsible for managing and prioritizing work requests for the HRIS Dayforce and Electronic Timecard teams, collaborating with Payroll and HR teams to enhance business processes and improve data quality. This role involves gathering requirements, generating reports, and maintaining strong partnerships across various business units.
Responsibilities
- •Gather and document requirements for DF and ETC configuration changes and enhancements
- •Prioritize work requests for the HRIS DF and ETC team via ServiceNow
- •Generate reports for stakeholders
- •Collaborate with the HRIS team and DF CRE and Support team for HR and Payroll initiatives
- •Manage, train, and coordinate team efforts to meet established objectives
- •Establish and maintain business partnerships across Payroll, HR, IT, and other units
- •Document DF and ETC configuration, change history, and change procedures
- •Manage DF and ETC upgrade efforts
- •Stay updated on DF initiated system changes and liaise with applicable business units
Requirements
- •5 years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with 2 years of HCM Payroll system configuration experience.
- •End to end implementation experience of a major HCM Payroll SaaS solution.
- •Experience working in a corporate environment promoting a collaborative environment.
- •Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet competing deadlines.
- •Demonstrated ability in streamlining processes to improve effectiveness.
- •Experienced in translating and communicating complex topics in a variety of forums for diverse audiences.
- •Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
- •Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence.
- •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or any closely related field.
