Job Description
The Senior Product Designer at Esri will focus on user-centered and interaction design to develop innovative AI-driven features for ArcGIS Pro, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and spatial analysis capabilities.
Responsibilities
- •Design AI features for ArcGIS Pro that are user-friendly and impactful.
- •Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts.
- •Collaborate with product owners, engineers, developers, and designers to ideate, prototype, and iterate on AI-driven solutions.
- •Create comprehensive design specifications, including user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- •Stay current with industry trends and best practices in AI, UX, and GIS.
- •Conduct competitive analysis of existing products to identify opportunities for improvement.
- •Lead design efforts from brainstorming to implementation while maintaining high quality standards.
- •Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- •5 years of experience in product design, with experience on AI features or technologies.
- •An online portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities, how you think, and a strong understanding of client objectives.
- •Experience using Figma, Figma UI Kits, adhering to established pattern libraries and required frameworks.
- •Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
- •Experience conducting user research and usability testing and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- •Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factor, or a related field.
