Job Description

The Sales Development Representative will proactively identify and reach out to construction teams to introduce Shape's software, set up demos, and build strong relationships that drive growth. This role requires a high-energy, people-focused individual who enjoys cold calling and is committed to helping potential customers improve their processes.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and reach out to construction teams to introduce Shape and set up demos.
  • Continuously improve outreach strategy using data and insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts.
  • Sharpen sales skills and contribute to building a world-class growth function.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, construction tech, or digital solutions.
  • Comfortable and confident doing cold calls.
  • Ability to engage decision-makers and guide them through a sales process.
  • Confident and engaging communicator who can make complex ideas simple and compelling.
  • Ability to work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts.
  • High-energy, people-focused sales person who sees sales as a way of helping people.
  • Ability to connect with people, ask the right questions, and spark interest.
  • Ownership in leading conversations, driving new sales strategies, or mentoring new team members.
  • Ability to read between the lines, spot opportunities, and adapt approach based on what’s working.
