Job Description
The Service Engineer at Zeeco is responsible for supervising burner and equipment installations, performing pre-commissioning, start-up, tuning, and troubleshooting of combustion systems, primarily through site visits and field support, with opportunities for work at the test facility and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and validate burner and related equipment installation at various sites
- Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and tuning of combustion systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Zeeco's combustion products in the field
- Manage workflow and coordinate with contractors and personnel on-site
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Create and submit detailed reports on installation and operational activities
Requirements
- Associate's degree in an Engineering discipline or comparable field experience
- Ability to travel a minimum of 60% to various installation sites
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow and work crews while on the job site
- Must possess technical and mechanical skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings, piping utilities from P ID s, instrumentation, welding, and electrical wiring
- Must be able to troubleshoot and report back for assistance if necessary
