Job Description
The Service Engineer at Zeeco is responsible for supervising burner and equipment installations, performing commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, and providing technical solutions primarily at installation sites, with opportunities to work at the test facility or in other engineering roles. The position involves significant travel and collaboration with various personnel to ensure proper operation of Zeeco's combustion systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and validate burner and related equipment installation at various sites
- Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and tuning of combustion systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Zeeco's combustion products in the field
- Manage workflow and coordinate with contractors and personnel on-site
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Create and submit detailed reports on system installation and operation
Requirements
- Associate's degree in an Engineering discipline or comparable field experience
- Ability to travel a minimum of 60% to various installation sites
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow and work crews while on the job site
- Must possess technical and mechanical skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings, piping utilities from P ID s, instrumentation, welding, and electrical wiring
- Must be able to troubleshoot and report back for assistance if necessary
