Job Description

The Commercial Director Spain will lead the development and execution of Zartis's commercial strategy in Spain, focusing on AI transformation opportunities, driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and shaping proposals for enterprise clients across various industries in the AI and digital transformation sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Zartis's commercial strategy in Spain focused on AI transformation opportunities
  • Manage and convert high-potential inbound leads from the Anthropic partnership
  • Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion in target verticals
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with large Spanish corporations, multinationals, and public-sector entities
  • Own the full sales cycle by crafting AI-specific value propositions tailored to enterprise clients
  • Identify market trends, regulatory considerations, and emerging opportunities in AI and related fields
  • Collaborate with internal teams and C-level stakeholders to shape proposals, close deals, and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
  • Manage forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and commercial performance metrics for the Spanish market
  • Represent Zartis at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

Requirements

  • 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience in technology consulting, enterprise software, or AI digital transformation services in Spain.
  • Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken, with the ability to lead client conversations, negotiate, and present at C-level in both languages.
  • Deep understanding of the Spanish enterprise market, including commercial culture, procurement dynamics, and decision-making structures within large corporations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, winning new business with large enterprises, and building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle, including crafting AI-specific value propositions tailored to enterprise client needs.
  • Ability to identify market trends, regulatory considerations such as EU AI Act and GDPR, and emerging opportunities in generative AI, AI agents, process automation, and intelligent data platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills with experience engaging C-suite executives.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to convert market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Experience with P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgeting, pricing models, and commercial KPIs.
  • Familiarity with the enterprise AI landscape, including AI adoption, LLM-based solutions, generative AI platforms, and challenges enterprises face when scaling AI.
  • Ability to manage and convert high-potential inbound leads generated through partnerships into business opportunities.
  • Experience managing forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and commercial performance metrics for the Spanish market.
  • Experience building and managing senior-level relationships with large Spanish corporations, multinationals, and public-sector entities.
  • Ability to own the full sales cycle, including shaping proposals, closing deals, and ensuring seamless handover to delivery teams.
  • Experience representing a company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
