Job Description
The role involves leading sales and business development efforts for Xpansiv's power solutions within North American wholesale power markets, leveraging industry networks to drive adoption of their market-leading platform and generate recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing professional network to close SaaS services opportunities in wholesale power markets
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase global adoption of Xpansiv's infrastructure
- Originate leads and engage with key decision makers and influencers to build trusted relationships
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to surpass sales targets
- Generate net-new recurring revenue through sales activities
Requirements
- Proven capacity to originate leads, engage with key decision makers and influencers, build trusted relationships, develop a strong pipeline, surpass sales targets, and generate net-new recurring revenue.
- Experience in closing SaaS services opportunities and executing business development strategies to increase global adoption of market infrastructure.
- Senior-level individual contributor experience with potential for future people management responsibilities.
- Ability to leverage an existing, strong professional network within North American wholesale power markets.
- Demonstrated success in the energy or environmental commodities market, specifically related to power sales and business development.
- Knowledge of the US wholesale power markets, including grid-scale storage, renewables, fossil generators, and load resources.
- Experience with the Xpansiv APX MarketSuite transaction platform, including dynamic scheduling and settlement capabilities, asset telemetry, remote monitoring, and 24/7 desk support (or equivalent platform knowledge).
- Ability to develop and execute business development strategies that increase adoption of energy transition markets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Educational background relevant to energy markets, business development, or related fields (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
- Physical and mental capacity to perform senior sales and business development activities, including travel and client engagement as needed.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation range in New York: $155,000 - $175,000
Commission plan in addition to base salary
