Job Description

The role involves leading sales and business development efforts for Xpansiv's power solutions within North American wholesale power markets, leveraging industry networks to drive adoption of their market-leading platform and generate recurring revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing professional network to close SaaS services opportunities in wholesale power markets
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase global adoption of Xpansiv's infrastructure
  • Originate leads and engage with key decision makers and influencers to build trusted relationships
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to surpass sales targets
  • Generate net-new recurring revenue through sales activities

Requirements

  • Proven capacity to originate leads, engage with key decision makers and influencers, build trusted relationships, develop a strong pipeline, surpass sales targets, and generate net-new recurring revenue.
  • Experience in closing SaaS services opportunities and executing business development strategies to increase global adoption of market infrastructure.
  • Senior-level individual contributor experience with potential for future people management responsibilities.
  • Ability to leverage an existing, strong professional network within North American wholesale power markets.
  • Demonstrated success in the energy or environmental commodities market, specifically related to power sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of the US wholesale power markets, including grid-scale storage, renewables, fossil generators, and load resources.
  • Experience with the Xpansiv APX MarketSuite transaction platform, including dynamic scheduling and settlement capabilities, asset telemetry, remote monitoring, and 24/7 desk support (or equivalent platform knowledge).
  • Ability to develop and execute business development strategies that increase adoption of energy transition markets.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Educational background relevant to energy markets, business development, or related fields (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).

Benefits & Perks

Compensation range in New York: $155,000 - $175,000
