Job Description
A Corporate Accounting Intern role focused on gaining practical experience in operational and technical accounting transactions, IFRS financial reporting, and statutory audits within a dynamic environment, with opportunities for professional development toward CA or CPA qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with operational and technical accounting transactions
- Participate in comprehensive end-to-end accounting processes
- Assist with IFRS financial reporting
- Support the preparation for statutory audits
Requirements
- Candidates must be recent graduates or in the process of completing their degree.
- Candidates must have an interest in pursuing professional qualifications such as CA or CPA, with support from the employer.
- Candidates should possess a results-driven attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Candidates must have an aptitude for managing external relationships.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Candidates must be willing to engage with operational and technical accounting transactions, comprehensive end-to-end accounting processes, IFRS financial reporting, and statutory audits.
- Candidates should have knowledge of or be willing to learn IFRS financial reporting and statutory audit processes.
- Candidates must be able to participate in the interview process, which includes resume shortlisting, recruiter screening, a Microsoft Teams call with the hiring manager, and an in-person interview.
- Candidates must be available to work in the region where the role is offered, with an understanding that compensation varies by geographic location, such as Sydney where compensation is expected to be between 32 (currency/units not specified).
