Job Description

Requirements
- Positive attitude and work ethic.
- High School graduate or equivalent. A mechanical/technical/vocational school background or experience is a plus.
- A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- The ability to perform manual labor. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience or combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of the repair, maintenance, and installation of distribution systems
- Knowledge of the operation and preventative maintenance of a variety of equipment
- Skilled in the use of a variety of hand and power tools
- Skilled in oral and written communication
- DS I minimum or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months.
- Class A CDL preferred / Class B with Air Brakes or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- May stand, walk, or move 6 to 8 hours daily.
- May sit for 1 to 3 hours daily.
- May perform operations and maintenance functions requiring manual dexterity and precision movements, continuous or repetitive arm and hand movements, grasping movements, and occasional forceful exertion.
- Exert moderate, though not constant physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, bending and reaching, climbing stairs and ladders.
- May lift, carry, push/pull objects and materials: regularly up to 40 pounds.
- Perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, odor, depth and visual cues or signals.
