Requirements
Graduation from high school or vocational school, including or supplemented by courses in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
Must demonstrate safe working practices and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, current staff members, and the general public.
Must possess a valid IL driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to acquire Class “D” water or Class “4” wastewater license within 1 year.
Understanding of SCADA operations.
Knowledge of computer applications, and ability to use & learn various software programs (MS Teams, Outlook, Hach WIMS, Utility Cloud)
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
