The Wastewater Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and efficient plant performance, with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities
Assist in ensuring treatment plants operate efficiently and remain in full compliance
Follow directives from the Project Manager and Chief Operator during plant operations
Requirements
Possession of a valid Wastewater Water Treatment Operator - C certification.
Participation in the daily operations and maintenance of 3 Water Treatment Facilities and 2 Wastewater Treatment Facilities as directed by the Project Manager and Chief Operator.
Ability to work outdoors and protect water resources.
Willingness to be on-call on a rotation basis, with compensation of 200 for the week on call and a minimum of 2 hours paid for each call out received.
Ability to perform physical tasks related to water and wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.
Ability to understand and follow operational procedures and safety protocols.
Willingness to participate in industry license and certification upgrading and maintenance, with employer reimbursement support.
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
Commitment to safety and compliance with environmental regulations.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
