Job Description
The Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and compliance with regulations, while supporting environmental protection efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility
- Perform maintenance tasks on wastewater treatment equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling treatment processes
- Support certification and training requirements for wastewater operations
Requirements
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
- Possess the ability to work outdoors and protect water resources.
- Have a valid certification or license to operate wastewater treatment facilities (implied by the need for qualified operators and industry certification support).
- Be willing to work in a team environment and follow operational directives.
- Meet any specific state or local licensing or certification requirements for wastewater operators (implied by the industry context and certification support).
