Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on streets, right of way, water distribution, and sewer collection systems to ensure their proper functioning and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of right of way, streets, water distribution, and sewer collection systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality and compliance
- Perform corrective maintenance to address system issues and repairs
Requirements
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of right of way, streets, water distribution, and sewer collection systems.
- Schedule work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
- Possess the physical ability to perform maintenance tasks related to streets, water, and sewer systems, including lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Have the ability to work independently and follow safety protocols and procedures related to maintenance operations.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Possess experience in maintenance work related to streets, water distribution, or sewer collection systems, or equivalent training.
- Be able to work in outdoor environments and tolerate exposure to weather conditions.
- Be willing to work overtime when required.
- Be capable of using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment relevant to the role.
- Have the ability to understand and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
