The Wastewater Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring compliance and efficient plant performance under the supervision of the Chief Operator.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in daily operations and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility as directed by the Chief Operator
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and regulatory standards
Respond to emergency events and alarm callouts as scheduled and required
Maintain reliable and dependable attendance, including standby duty and on-call responsibilities
Requirements
Possess a Virginia Class 2 or Class 1 Wastewater Operator license.
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility as directed by the Chief Operator.
Maintain reliable and dependable attendance as an essential function of the position.
Be available for standby duty and the ability to be on-call, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Respond to emergency events and alarm callouts as scheduled and required.

Work schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with availability for standby duty, on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays
