Job Description
The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the commissioning of new construction projects to ensure projects are turned over to operations for future safe and reliable operations.
Requirements
- 6 + years relevant experience (power generation operations, maintenance, engineering)
- Required experience in Power Plant Control Systems
- Ability to look critically at a problem set, identify unique solutions and influence change
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – to be applied across the organization and externally, including the ability to confidently and effectively explain engineering requirements, including to non-technical audiences.
- Occasional long, irregular hours. May often require the employee to work in excess of 12 hours per day and in excess of seven (7) consecutive days. This position requires frequent travel and/or long-term assignments away from home.
- Bachelor of Science in an accredited Engineering or Engineering Technology program
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
