Job Description

The Materials & Inventory Analyst is responsible for supporting the efficient and effective management of materials and inventory for the assigned sites within the Vistra Nuclear Generation fleet.

Requirements

•
3+ years of warehouse supervision or other relevant experience in procurement/inventory management
Passion for reducing costs – enthusiasm for driving optimum business outcomes
Developing process orientation and demonstrated Continuous Improvement skills; Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
Strong initiative; originates productive actions; generates new ideas, processes and approaches to meet business needs
Strong written and oral communication; ability to negotiate and persuade others
General business knowledge and acumen, with broad-based knowledge of materials management process
Strong ability to facilitate cross functional teams
Excellent analytical skills, with ability to mine and evaluate technical, performance and financial data for business case development and recommendation
Demonstrated understanding of financial and inventory management systems
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office capabilities (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
