Vistra is seeking electricians to support the maintenance team at the Odessa-Ector Power Plant.

High school graduate or GED required. Completion of trade school, military service training programs, or tech training preferred.
Texas journeyman electrical license preferred
Prior electrical experience required; Heavy industrial electrical experience preferred.
Must possess basic math skills, good verbal communication skills, and be proficient with the use of power and precision tools.
Ability to read prints/schematics
Must have knowledge of Safety and Environment rules as they relate to electrical maintenance
Working knowledge of CMMS. Familiarity with Maximo is preferred
Additional experience with machinery repair and control systems preferred.
Experience working on both AC and DC power.
** All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources and all communication concerning the testing is sent to the candidate's email address provided during the application process.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work in confined spaces.
Ability to ascend and descend ladders
Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in an industrial environment.
Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments as required.
