- 10+ years in community relations or related areas;
- 2+ years minimum experience in the areas of government, economic development, or public issues communications.
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills.
- Ability to detect issues and correctly interpret and communicate information
- Strong diverse communications, leadership, and management skills
- Ability to advise, negotiate, resolve conflict, and develop solutions reflecting Vistra’s best interest
- Strong knowledge and awareness of community affairs, issues management and economic development
- Self-managed overnight travel required
- Knowledge of energy industry and/or competitive businesses
- HS Diploma or equivalency
