Job Description
The Air Permitting Senior Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, maintenance, interpretation, and strategic management of air permits necessary to support the operation and growth of electric power generation facilities.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a corporate, agency, or consulting environment performing air permitting work and/or providing oversight of environmental regulatory compliance programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading air permitting projects, managing regulatory deliverables, and coordinating cross-functional teams or external consultants.
- Experience managing consultant scopes of work, project schedules, budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and performance expectations preferred.
- Experience preparing and presenting project status updates, regulatory summaries, budget information, and recommendations to multiple levels of responsibility within an organization, including field personnel, peers, senior management, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret complex environmental rules, regulations, permits, guidance, and agency correspondence.
- Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to perform well under pressure, prioritize competing workstreams, manage resources productively, and meet high-pressure deadlines across multiple projects.
