Job Description
Location: Letterkenny, Ireland Travel: Approximately 20% Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
As a Thermal Engineer , you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems within modular buildings, including heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, and fire suppression systems. Working closely with architectural, structural, electrical, manufacturing, and project delivery teams, you will support projects from concept and design through manufacturing, factory integration, commissioning, and customer handover.
This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle and provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise within the fast-growing data centre industry.
Support the development of construction documentation and detailed design packages.
Prepare manufacturing and technical documentation.
Provide engineering support during module assembly and integration activities within the Letterkenny facility.
Support service teams and subcontractors during project execution.
Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical feedback to the design team.
Collaborate with project management, quality, manufacturing, testing, and construction teams to successfully deliver projects.
