Job Description

A Lean Six Sigma Senior Engineer is responsible for improving organizational processes by applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce errors, and optimize workflows, thereby enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use statistical and data analysis tools to identify problems, root causes, and improvement opportunities in processes
  • Develop and implement process, technology, and people solutions to address identified problems
  • Analyze and improve production processes and workflows
  • Survey current production line conditions and collect relevant data
  • Propose and plan improvements to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and lower costs
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of improvement projects
  • Prepare operation manuals and troubleshooting guides
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards such as ISO, EHS, 5S, and Kaizen
  • Coordinate with QA to maintain product quality after improvements
  • Guide, manage, and oversee Lean Six Sigma projects from planning to evaluation
  • Train and coach employees on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
  • Report progress and present results of improvement initiatives to management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma.
  • From 2-3 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma improvement activities, Green Black Belt is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • Proficient in English 4 skills.
  • Use statistical and data analysis tools to identify problems, root causes, and improvement opportunities in the process.
  • Develop improvement solutions, including process, technology, and people solutions, to address identified problems.
  • Analyze and improve production processes.
  • Survey the current state of production lines.
  • Collect and analyze data cycle time, defect rate, productivity, etc.
  • Propose improvement solutions to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and lower costs.
  • Plan and monitor the progress of improvement projects.
  • Evaluate post-improvement effectiveness, e.g., reduced cycle time, increased output, lower labor costs.
  • Prepare operation manuals WI and troubleshooting guides.
  • Comply with quality and safety standards to ensure all equipment and improvements meet ISO, EHS, 5S, and Kaizen standards.
  • Coordinate with QA PE to ensure product quality is not affected after improvements.
  • Guide and manage Lean Six Sigma projects, from planning, implementation, to monitoring and evaluating results.
  • Instruct and coach employees on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools, helping them apply these methods to their daily work.
  • Contribute to building an organizational culture focused on continuous improvement, encouraging everyone to participate in finding improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement projects, ensuring that changes bring about the desired results.
  • Report progress and present improvement results to management and stakeholders.
  • Work 48 hours per week.
  • Work in the office and production area.
  • Be physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, meetings, and other activities organized by the company.
