Job Description

The HR Specialist supports European HR operations by managing onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, while collaborating with global teams to ensure smooth HR processes across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits administration for European employees and contractors
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires
  • Maintain accurate employee records ensuring compliance with data protection and company policies
  • Administer employee benefits, process payroll, and assist with compensation questions
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and support management in performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and manage development programs
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across European countries and advise management on policy changes

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Candidates must have at least 4 years of HR experience, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Ability to develop and implement recruiting strategies, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records for European employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with data protection and company policies.
  • Experience in administering employee benefits, processing payroll, and assisting with compensation structures and employee questions regarding their benefits for European employees and contractors.
  • Ability to address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and support management in matters like performance management and disciplinary actions for European employees and contractors.
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting training sessions to enhance employee skills and managing employee development programs in European locations.
  • Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations in European countries, including staying updated on policy changes and advising management accordingly.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills to track HR metrics.
  • Proven ability to work independently and proactively.
