Job Description
A junior data researcher role focused on online research, data validation, and maintaining structured datasets, providing an entry point into data and research careers with full training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and validate information from public and online sources
- Maintain and update structured datasets accurately
- Communicate with external stakeholders via phone and email
- Follow documented processes and quality standards
- Support the team in meeting objectives and deadlines
Requirements
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Confident computer user with the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Support the team by researching information from public sources, keeping records accurate and up to date, and assisting with communication with external contacts
- Work with structured data, follow clearly defined processes, and help the team meet regular objectives
- Full onboarding and training will be provided
- Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK
- Applicants must be based in the UK
- No technical background or programming skills are required
- Experience of 0 to 4 years in relevant fields such as customer service, administration, market research, junior analyst roles, or detail-oriented career changers is acceptable
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data research and validation
- Ability to maintain and update structured datasets accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email with external stakeholders
- Ability to follow documented processes and quality standards
- Ability to meet regular objectives and deadlines
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 25,000 - 30,000 a year
Work schedule: Hybrid or remote based in the UK
