Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation leads the design and planning of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and multimodal systems, while supporting business development and client relations in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems.
- Provide comprehensive services to clients such as transportation planning, geometric layouts, and preliminary and final engineering design.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing plans, cultivate client and agency relationships, and support business development activities.
- Contribute to proposal development and deliver client presentations.
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
- Experience leading projects in designing transportation infrastructure systems that are complex, safe, and efficient.
- Proven experience providing a full range of transportation services including sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway design and planning.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, Surface Transportation leaders, the Milwaukee Regional Vice President, and Surface Transportation Vice President to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relationships, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
